Yep, the ABC hit rock bottom when it comes to political bias with this morning's Insiders.

The ever so "fair & balanced" Andrew Bolt was virtually egged on by host Barrie Cassidy to push his Kevin Rudd hate-fest. Dennis Atkins from QLD's The Courier Mail (yet another Murdoch empire tentacle) made sure he got a few punches into Labor on every possible front. And even Karen Middleton from SBS demonstrated that beating up on Kevin Rudd has become a pleasurable & addictive sport for our mainstream media commentators.

You'd think Rudd was a piñata the way this morning's panel put a concerted effort into bashing the life out of his reputation. I guess they reckon if they bash him enuff he'll explode & the goodies will fall into their media company's profiteering hands.

Tho, to be fair to Middleton, she did take on Bolt over his callous & dismissive comments related to global warming...and Abbott on his less than compassionate "turn the boats back" announcement. A policy so cruel in this commentator's opinion that it will probably turn many a Green who thought they might punish Labor on the ETS delay by voting Liberal back to the less HYDEish Rudd.

And some wonder why the government needs to advertise...sell its message. With a public broadcaster like ours...and a media dominated by the Murdoch empire & right-wing cock jocks, is it any wonder?
