Monday morning again, eh?

I had a great weekend. Friday night was one of the best concerts of my life. Roger Hodgson (ex-Supertramp) supported by 10cc. Amusingly the line for the gents toilet was longer than the ladies. Something to do with the age of the audience and prostate problems I reckon ;)

On Sunday we went to see Clash of the Titans in 3D. Not the greatest movie ever made, but entertaining all the same. I fear, though, that the boyf will now only want to see movies in 3D.

It's been a while since I put up an open thread, so here is one for you to raise stories that we might have missed.

A couple of stories that have caught my eye this week are:

• The Tories in the UK are no longer looking like grabbing power (even with New Labour being Bad Labour), and they are now appealing to the religious elemnent to get them over the line
• Unemployment has stabilised at 5.3%
• Has the "missing link" between ape and man finally been found?
